Did you do any teaching or publish any articles or attend conferences with a view to developing an academic career?

I did some, I did a, quite a bit of teaching. I did a, maybe one or two book reviews and I helped organise a conference with some people who were also doing PhDs. I went to maybe, a few conferences, not to give papers of my own though and so yeah I did some things but possibly, but I probably didn't think of them in terms of developing a career.
